It's an easy fix though as if I lift and turn that part it moves back up.) But no other problems with this (see Pros) - To keep the "34 from tilting forward I had to crank the bolt on it extra tight. This is fine and kind of expected, but it does make it hard to tilt up and down. -The opening on the back is a little small, so I had to run the wires for the top monitor through the top, I think it's supposed to be this way because there is a hole in the "stopper" at the top. This could allow for moving monitors between multiple of these stands, given you have an extra set of cables. But I would have rather had all of them come out of the same hole in the stand. I think it's for stability though, so again can't knock them. I got this because I wanted to put my 27" above my 34" and hopefully have some extra height so I didn't have to look down all the time and it is so close to the mark (about 1/4" too low). But, it helped me clean off my desk like nothing else. It's sturdy, heavy, and built like a champ, you know how they say "they don't make them how they used to?" This is what they mean. I recently moved my office into another room and I took this thing over all together (obviously after being unhooked and with help from my fiance) and the only thing I had to do after putting it back in was straighten the screens. The screw that holds it in when put through a grommet is remarkably large (again stability and I appreciate it), so it feels a little long when you are installing it or moving it. May i stack them?** A: I had two of these, each with Two HP Pavilion 32 QHD displays hung on each post. These weigh 15.5 lbs each(7.12kg) so that's roughly 30lbs, the mount worked like a champ. I would still be using it, but I changed to Ergotron adjustable arms for more placement control. A lot more expensive, but also a lot more adjustability. The only issue I had was related to the design of the HP Display. It's Vesa mount is at the base of the monitor, which put a HUGE amount of strain on the tilt adjust of the post attachment. I really had to crank down to get the monitors to not tilt forward. I mean A LOT... like, 'am-i-about-to-break-this-thing-off amount. In fact, I think the only reason I got it to work was that I had two posts, mounting 2up monitors side by side. Angling the monitors slightly allowed them to prop one another up. I also used industrial-strength adhesive tape to 'lock' the displays together for a 4up display setup. It was a big headache getting things setup, but once it was in place, it worked great for about two years. I state all of that because, if you have a 15'lb ultra wide monitor that has a vesa mount at the BASE of the monitor (not the middle), you will likely have to turn the display upside down in order to keep the display from slowly tilting forward over time. I never did this because they aren't quite. tall enough to rock 2 32" displays with the attachment point all the way at the top. Plus I needed about 6" at the base for a Cintiq to slip under. I did destroy a monitor when I let go of it before I had the tilt adjustment locked down completely. the display slow-motion 'flopped' forward and impaled (well, cracked the screen) itself on the corner of my laptop display. This wasn't the mount's fault, I just trusted when I should have verified. **Q: any chance this would work with the Samsung G9 49” ultra wide?** A: I can vouch that the weight of the odyssey or odyssey g9 is TOO HEAVY and does NOT stay up (will literally droop and tilt straight down without supports. I currently have 2 "MHQJRH Graphics Card GPU Brace Support, Video Card Sag Holder Bracket" (amazon item title) currently holding each of the corners giving it proper support to prevent falling down. Looking into a strong mount or better alternatives for support on the monitor itself. **Q: Secret labs magnus desk compatibility** A: I noticed the Magnus desk has a 20mm desk thickness, which AVLT-DM58-1 can support. However, the question is the depth of the cable management slot. The depth of the cable management slot has to be deeper than 150mm (tabletop 20mm + c-clamp bolt 130mm), so the c-clamp can attach to it. **Q: Would this work with a single 34” Ultrawide? Mounted towards the top of pole. Do you diligence and know how much your monitor weighs. So far this one does fine with at least 32lb monitors. I did tighten the arm quit a bit and was afraid I'd strip it but my monitor is not sagging down at all. I put the heavier 32lb on the bottom it's my main one, and the 20lb will go up top. Both 34 inch monitors, the stand is a part of my desk it's on there haha.
