Sculptural Secrets for Mosaics: Creating 3-D Bases for Mosaic Application

I use this book in my mosaic classes, to show the various projects: chair sculpture, mosaic "fabric" and pieces using found objects, etc. My students are always excited and responsive to see them and I'm sure a number of them have bought this book, too. I love that it is written in first person, present tense; like "I'm doing this now, but it's not what I wanted so I'm changing my method..." highly recommend it!

What an inspiring book. From start to finish a joy to read. Informative and well written. Beautiful sculptured pieces of colourful artwork. I enjoyed the stories that Latimer puts with her sculptures. I am a proud owner of some of her work. It is a joy to see scattered in the garden and around the house.

great book, I have created my first substrate with chicken wire with the help from Julee's book, now just got to add all the tiles, shells etc. really looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
