Is this truly a non kink hose?

It does come pretty close. It twists a lot, which ultimately leads to kinks. It’s not as bad as my past hoses. You just have to fight it a little sometimes.

Can you drink water out of the hose?

JoAnn, We generally advise that hoses with the aluminum couplings are safe to drink from after a little water goes through to clean out any bugs or random dirt, and to cool the water and end piece. How does it stand up to cold weather?

It has done well so far for me, but we have not had a very cold winter this year in the south. However, beware, I ignored the reviews that warned about kinking and should have listened. This hose kinks terribly and I would not buy it again, even if it holds up in cold weather.
