Worked for what I needed. I had 2 metal base mounts to cover up on the roof. Simple and easy. The mounting tape seems to be holding well. I do use automated car washes so we’ll see if they survive that, but they came through a pretty good storm with heavy rain just fine.

The radio didnt work at all, but that's ok, it looks good... 10 miles it was hanging by the cord. To be fair, the contour of the bottom didn't quite fit my car, but I had ordered one for my particular car.

It fit over the bottom portion that was still left on my car. I had to customize it a little.

I unfortunately didn't get pictures before I installed the antenna unit, but there were some minor issues that ultimately took this from a 5-star review down to 4. At first the piece did not fit over my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek's existing antenna base (after unscrewing the antenna stick) but on the base of this antenna there is a crescent shaped piece that can be removed to accommodate a larger original antenna base on the car. After removing that, it fit just fine. The other minor issue I found was that the precut 3M adhesive sheet was trimmed slightly too small to reach the outer edges of the antenna base. It still fits well and provides a full seal, but it would be nice if it came closer to the edge instead of leaving a small gap around the edge. Other than those notes, the antenna is great. My car has the Subaru crystal black silica paint color, which is a gloss black with a glittering sparkle in it, and though this antenna is a basic high gloss black, the difference isn't noticeable. I took the attached pictures on a very sunny day which makes the colors look even more alike, but unless you were actively looking for a difference you'd never notice.

Install was very easy, and so far the adhesive piece that came with it is working. Based on prior reviews I assumed I would have to use a different adhesive, but it's been holding up. I unscrewed the exisiting antenna and attached this one with the screw provided. I cleaned the roof top surface with rubbing alcohol prior to applying the adhesive and let it dry. To date it has remained solidly adhered despite at least a few downpours and a touch-free car wash.

With it being universal I was hoping it would fit my car. Even breaking the plastic piece to make the middle bigger, it still did not fit. The color is nice and came with necessary pieces to put it together. If it had fit my car, I most likely would have given in 4 or 5 stars. Sadly it does not fit a Kia Optima 15 and there’s nowhere on here to help the buyer know that.

It was easy to install, still stuck to my car and a great deal!

Even though it said it would fit my car and had the measurements it some how still didn't fit my car.

The base is not part of the solid fin. The bottom part is screwed on and is flimsy. This think will pop off in a heart beat. The 3m is not even cut to proper size and even if it was it will come off because the base is not a solid part of the fin. The fin I got is also scratched and the bolt and screw were free inside of the box. Very disappointed that amazon would allow this to be sold.

This was a great product as far as connection and reception via the radio. It worked for me, but I did have to modify my Antenna base to make it work. Some make sure before you order to check that this is the right size to fit over your factory base.
