Lots of texture, excellent hold, yet pliable throughout the day. Difficult to wash from hands
I got into the Dreadnought line of products from their shaving cream (which is amazing). I held off on this because I thought my got2b glued was working just fine and never thought about trying something else. I decided to give some other products a try such as the old spice pomade, paste, and putty and American crew fiber and pomade. Fiber worked really well for me to make my short 1-2 inch hair look thicker and slightly disheveled the way I desired. It was very nice not to have crunchy hair anymore yet have hair that stayed where it was supposed to. I figured since all these products were so much better than what I've been doing for years, I would give the Dreadnought clay a try since I'm loyal to their other products (wish they'd make a cologne so I don't have to nag friends for bluebeards revenge cologne when they're traveling to UK). The matt clay really gave me exactly what I want from a hair styling product. It made my disheveled look even better than fiber. My hair had a lot of texture, excellent hold, yet reshapable throughout the day. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and it might be a common trait of all clay products, is that it is EXTREMELY hard to wash off your hands! I spend about a solid 5 mins washing it off my hands trying all kinds of soaps. I never seam to get it all off but after 5-10 mins of drying, I don't seam to notice it on my hands anymore. Perhaps its good for you're skin anyway. For some reason I dont have the same problem washing it out of my hair. Since I'm always in a rush in the morning and dont have time to wash this out of my hands I will stick to american crew fiber during the week (hair is covered at work anyway) and use this stuff on weekends or for a night out.

Price gouge but good hair product
Matt clay works great. Would have gotten 5 stars but the price doubled since the last time I purchased it.
