I bought this because I’ve officially been banned from the local garden centre for crimes against horticulture. If you can kill a fern tree, this LEGO Bonsai is your path to redemption. I spent an hour assembling a literal frog-tree. 10/10 for creativity. Dual Seasons: It comes with two full sets of leaves (Green and Pink). Swapping them takes about 5 minutes, allowing you to "change seasons" whenever you remember what month it is. Structural Integrity: The "wooden" stand is built from LEGO bricks but looks surprisingly high-end. It doesn't look like a toy from a distance, it looks like a piece of home décor. Pros & ConsPros: Never wilts, zero watering required, and it’s a great conversation starter ("Is that a frog?"). Cons: The "pot" is filled with loose LEGO "pebbles" (1x1 round tiles). If you knock this off your desk, you will be finding plastic gravel until the year 2030. Verdict Perfect for adults who want a Zen vibe without the responsibility of a living organism. It’s sturdy, fits perfectly on a bookshelf, and is the only plant I’ve ever owned that hasn't turned brown and crispy within a week.

Brilliant lego set. Looks great on display. Fun building experience, doesn't take too long but also feels like a good process and rewarding when completed. I chose to do the pink leaves which looked great but using green looks good too. No negatives with this set. Good value.

I bought the Lego Bonsai Tree for a 20-year-old family member for Christmas. She was delighted, as she’s had Lego flower kits before and enjoys building them and decorating her room with them. It’s a a lovely gift to give to an adult Lego fan as I can be confident of the quality and I know she'll find it fun to put together. It was well worth the offer price of £33.99.

Good model, looks nice and fund to build. Good size with some decent detail. The instructions are pretty easy to follow and most parts go together well.

I had one of these for myself and I decided to get one for a retired relative that liked real Bonsai. Bit of a gamble whether they would like like it. Tree arrived and was immediately appreciated. Last few days I have been receiving emails of all the possibilities for adapting the Lego tree. It arrived in a nice box with 2 tree options: * A green leafed tree * Japanese cherry blossom tree complete with pink 'frog' shaped lego for blossom Build instructions: I was interrupted with phone call and missed out a brick and the trunk kept breaking, so I had to go back over the instructions again and it worked later. The contents comes in labelled bags which is handy. The pot and stand do look realistic in Lego version. It would be nice if Lego sold the coloured Palm tree leaves to make a maple etc. It is keeping retired relative and Bonsai fan happy. Recommended for most ages. Although it says 18+ Adult, I am sure a teenager really into Lego would be able to make the tree too aged 13 upwards. Well done Lego. Asks me to rate flavour? This is non-applicable. Not into biting into Lego bricks, it says its made with recycled plant material into the plastic, but there is nothing edible about it and I am not going to even try to find out.
