Cat loves it
My cat has taken bto this scratcher tobthe point bshe seems addicted. I only wish it wasn't so pointy. Sometimes vshe ends up with cutsbin her jaw.

Cats ignore this item even though they rub on everything else
Our 2 cats ignore this item even though they love to rub on everything else. Hard cardboard corners, wooden bookshelf corners, their cat tree in multiple places, their scratching cardboard items etc, but NOT this. We thought for sure they would LOVE this, and we were really hoping too, cause the one loves to rub her head on the outside corner of her litter box, yuck! So, we saw these, and thought they'd be the perfect thing to keep her from doing that, but no. It doesn't matter how much catnip is in them to attract them, they refuse to have anything to do with it. We've left them just sitting on their table near their cat tree, and they avoid it. We've tried just using them as brushes for them, but they hate it. There must be a scent to it that they don't like or something. Our pup was like that with any plastic or rubber toys. He refused to have anything to do with them, and it seems this is that for our cats. Sadly, was a waste of money for us.

The cats that use it really like it
Some of the cats seem to enjoy rubbing up against it others are not even interested in it. I’m gonna add more catnip to it to see if I can get more interest in it but I knew that not all of my cats would be interested cause I only have a few that enjoy the chin scratches like that

Cats didn’t seem interested, destroyed drywall.
Put it up in a high cat traffic area. Cats didn’t care much even with catnip. Got bumped by a 3 y/o ripped off wall taking drywall with it.

cats love it
My cats just love these and they are very easy to install. They came with foam adhesives and screws, but I didn't use the screws because I am a renter, and the adhesives are holding very well.

my cats constantly knock the scratcher off.
There's no way to secure the scratcher to the mount. It's barely held together with a couple flimsy snaps. My cats are constantly knocking it off and then the catnip spills everywhere. The mess isn't really a big deal, but the thing is kinda pointless if the cats are unable to scratch themselves.
