This is hands down the most powerful and effective color-balancing purple shampoo I have ever tried. My colorist recommended it to me, and I haven’t purchased another purple shampoo since! The smell is neutral and clean, and it works great on my fine blonde hair. It does an amazing job of keeping my blonde looking bright and platinum while getting rid of the dull, yellow tones that can start to show between salon appointments. I’ve tried plenty of other purple shampoos over the years, but nothing has worked as well for me as this one. It truly feels like a salon-quality product and has become an absolute staple in my haircare routine. If you’re trying to maintain a cool, bright blonde, I highly recommend it!

EXTREMELY drying to my hair! My old gray hair is always starved for moisture but this shampoo left it feeling like straw! The shampoo did leave a nice shine and took away a lot of the brassiness with the first use. So.... Now I know to use extra moisturizing after using this shampoo (a few extra drops of olive oil in my conditioner and extra leave-in conditioner usually does the trick).

Only shampoo I use to keep my white hair white. Only use it once every two weeks, or it gets a purple tint.

I love Joico. I bought this stuff when I got a balayage done on my hair and would use it about once a week and it worked wonders. Will definitely use again if I decide to go the blonde direction again
