18-inch Aluminum Straight Pipe Wrench, Adjustable Plumbing Wrench

Needed to do some simple plumbing that was middle to above myself, I have heavy metal ones but figured that these aluminum ones would be “less of a stress” , and I wasn’t disappointed. Easy to use, gives you great stability rather than fighting gravity, they adjust real nice as that part is steel. Now, these aren’t the units you’re looking for with a cheater bar attached, this is every day household plumbing, they are so “lite” that it’s deceiving. I would even bet that they would be good for pros who want to lighten their load.

Great pipe wrench

Great price and very lightweight. However, they’re not built for daily use or heavy-duty pipe work. For occasional or light use, they perform well, but I wouldn’t rely on them for tougher jobs.

I had been battling with a hose bib back flow preventer. It was spraying all over when I turned water on. I unfortunately didn’t have a pipe wrench (loaned out and not returned) so I ordered this inexpensive one praying it would work! That bib was on tight!!! But this little wrench got the job done beautifully and saved me $250 for a plumber. It’s light weight but perfect for small jobs around house. It’s so nice to turn the water on and not get drenched!! Yay!!

Its a little cheap adjustable pipe wrench. I wouldn't call it heavy duty.

The pipe wrench works as advertised. It will open to the circumference of most bolts, however, once you start to adjust the neck of the wrench to the size of the bolt. You can tell that the wrench has play in between the sizing bolt on the wrench itself. You have to remove the wrench and adjust it then replace it on the bolt. Even after sizing the wrench to the bolt, there is play in between. It's not the tool I would want if I was a professional plummber, but around the house it should fit your needs.

これがないとパイプ周りの修理が出来ない。 かなりキツく閉まるので素晴らしい。 そこそこの重さがあるので、手首などを鍛える筋トレにも使えるので素晴らしい。
