When it works, it works well. After the computer goes to sleep, the connection is dropped. I have to unplug and plug in the usb again to restart the connection. I work remotely as a programmer- and I used to always be stressed because the connection was so slow- despite owning a higher end modem.When I bought this USB Port, I was really crossing my fingers and hoping that it would work well. It does. All the ports work perfectly as well. I use a wireless mouse, charge my cellphone and my laptop booster with fan on this bad boy.
