Amazing Deal - 24 Hosta Bare Roots Plants w/Planting Shovel - Mixed Heart-Shaped, Rich Green Foliage, Attracts Butterflies, Hummingbirds & Pollinators, Low Maintenance & Extremely Hardy - Zones 3–9

I was initially skeptical when I received these hosta plants. They arrived in a sealed plastic bag with some sawdust-looking material, and I honestly thought they might be too dry or damaged to survive. Life got busy, so I didn’t get a chance to plant them until four days later—and I was worried that I had waited too long. But wow, was I wrong! After planting them and following a heavy rainstorm, I was amazed to see visible sprouts within 24 hours! These hostas clearly have a strong root system and are incredibly resilient. I’m beyond happy with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more in the future. Highly recommend!

It is mainly root and a small growth that arrives in the 8 packets of three plant each. Planted it about a week back. They have started to grow. Happy with it. 70% of last years plants have done very well without too much care and are thriving this year and hence ordered them.

Arrived in good condition and packaged well. After about 2 weeks, 20 of the 24 plants have grown and look healthy. I have hope the other 4 plants will emerge and grow. I would buy again.

All plants are completely dried out/dead. I planted and watered one set of three to see if maybe they would come.back but after a week it's obvious these are dead. Maybe I just got an old box but there doesn't seem to be a way to return or request a refund.

These are a great mixture of bare root plants. I did order 24 bare root but I only have 16 that actually grew. I took care of them the way I was instructed to do. (I called the company to make sure I was doing it right because there were no instructions in the box. ) So a little dissappointed about not getting the 24 to grow. THe ones that didn't grow never looked like they had a "crown" on them where the leaves come out. Not sure what happend with those. They were packed really well. The ones that are growing look very nice.

The 24 plants arrived in good shape in eight bags containing three bare root plants, each with some potting soil. While some of the roots looked better than others and sprouted immediately, after six weeks on the ground all 24 plants are healthy and thriving. Most of the plants put out leaves within a few days. A few took a week or so, but caught up quickly. The picture attached was taken about six weeks after planting and show the two varieties that arrived. Both are variegated varieties, one is green with white edges and the other green with chartreuse edges. About 2/3 of them are the green and white variety. It was all but impossible to tell which variety I was planting where because the root stock all looks alike. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase because the plants are all growing very well and did so quickly.
