Litter Pearls Tracksless Unscented Non-Clumping Crystal Cat Litter with Odorbond, 7 lb, White, Clear and Blue Crystals

I'm in the final stage of terminal cancer with too much time on my hands! LOL Brushing my bare feet off every time I get out of bed, or finding tracked litter on my sheets had nearly driven me nuts, so I decided to do an experiment and went on a mission to find the very best litter out there! As a cat owner, you already know the many issues cat litter brings, and I was determined to find one that (a) controlled odor, (b) was easy to clean daily, (c) had low/no dust, and, (d) MOST importantly for me - no tracking! I've purchased every single brand I could find, prices being no factor in each one i bought, & each month changed the brand for the best results. Well, let me tell you - THIS IS IT! I have NO more litter in my bed, floors, etc., or stuck to her paws each time she exited the box! (I purchased the "trackless" type of Litter Pearls since this was my main complaint.) It controlled the odor for an entire month, it barely stuck to the "poop" in the box which made it easy to scoop & had little to no dust, the urine absorbed quickly and was also easy to scoop if needed (but is not meant to clump or scoop out - only absorb) and I barely needed to vacuum the floors daily like I have with EVERY other brand of litter! This stuff is awesome! It looks very similar to Pretty Litter but has no urine monitoring feature. I have to admit, it took me months to work down the list, and still have several more brands sitting here, but I'll be donating them to a shelter and NEVER switching from this one in the future! What a delight this product is, and has made my life SO much easier. Again, I did not compare prices, but to find something it actually claims to do is priceless & of no concern for me! If she's still alive when I pass, at least I'll know her foster or permanent human(s) will know what brand I use & hopefully continue to use it too. She's old & can be finicky sometimes, but she took right to the Litter Pearls and had no problems. If I could give it 10 stars, I'd give them ALL to this litter brand - because they definitely nailed it! Bravo!

When I last had cats, they went outside most of the day so the litter box was not used as often. I was reluctant to get cats again since the culture has changed and there is pressure to keep them inside only. I am not a fan of the smell of litter box hitting you in the face when you come home, or with having to scoop out their "gifts." I spent way too long researching the issue, and opted for two top entry litter boxes and 2 kittens (one top entry box was $27, and holds 2 bags of pearls the other $100 and holds 1 bag, both work fine). I started trying every kind of litter recommended to me. Clumping, grain, cellulose, clay, pretty colors, and finally have settled on these pearls. What I like: NO odor, no perfume, little tracking, no outside the box accidents. The only issue is they do track the round roly poly pearls outside the box occasionally, even with the top entry. The kittens enjoy chasing these little silica balls, but I do not enjoy having them distributed around the house, crunching under foot. This is helped by putting the boxes in a space they can only exit one way and placing our dog's mud mat in that path and shaking that outside once a week. The solid waste is dehydrated by the pearls into a petrified hard log and no longer smelly very quickly. We feed the cats twice a day a measured amount, so they go twice a day. We stir the pearls ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM to distribute the urine, scoop once a day, and dispose of it in the garbage, wrapped in recycled plastic bags. The only issue is when someone forgets to stir the urine all the way to the bottom for a few days and it accumulates on the bottom and the plastic box gets stinky and has to be washed and put out in the sun to dry. Get a long handle sturdy metal litter scoop and this will become an easier chore. I am a huge fan of having access to a bulk box of 3 clear bags of pearls, I change them out monthly, and don't need the directions and writing on each bag. If I could only get our local store to stock these as well...

I love this litter because it’s much lighter than most, it keeps the box clean and odorless for a whole month, it’s easy to scoop, it doesn’t clump and it doesn’t require adding more throughout the month. My only complaint is the amount of tracking that it does. I have a mat next to the litterbox and it doesn’t help. I find the crystals all over the apartment and that’s the most annoying part. I need to sweep and vacuum just about everyday

My cat likes this, which we know is most important variable. It reduces smell and mess, so I will keep buying it for my fastidious queen.

Yes, it's less tracking then Pretty Litter (that stuff I loved except it ended up ALL over the house, the pearl size got perfectly stuck in the cats paws regardless of anti-track mat in front of litter box), and like all pearl litter is dustless. However, this stuff was making me ill. I purchased it for an auto-scooping litter box, and it is compatible with those. The pearls in this brand - Litter Pearls - dried out the cat feces and the liquid from the fecal matter would go into the pearls. It actually made poop jerky. Problem is that the odor of the feces did not go into the pearls, so the odor literally became concentrated and smelled so horribly it was giving me a sour stomach and sick feeling the entire time I was home. The odor flooded the entire floor that the litter box was on. This was my first and last bag.

Great cat litter for our multi-cat household. Makes cleaning easy. Will never go back to clay.

The bag of LitterPearls on the right contains pure white crystals, as advertised! The bag on the left contains contaminated litter. The litter box on the left contains pure white LitterPearls, as advertised. The box on the right is contaminated LitterPearls right out of the bag! I have been using LitterPearls for months. My wife and my cats all love it! But this month, I have received 3 different shipments of CONTAMINATED LitterPearls from two different Amazon suppliers!!! The litter is yellow instead of pure white, as advertized. Looks like half-used litter! Looking it up, I find this type of dessicant can be recycled; if you heat it to 200F and hold that temperature for about 5 hours, the urine will "boil off" and leave pure white litter. The contaminated litter seems to be partially recycled LitterPearls; litter that still holds some quantity of cat urine! I WON'T USE IT!!! Even though I know that heating it to 200F will kill any biologics, the litter won't last as long as it is supposed to! So these LitterPearls, when pure white, are the best litter I have ever used! But I refuse to accept partially recycled litter!!! I have to give this vendor credit; they gave me a refund after one box. Amazon, on the other hand, sent me two boxes (6 bags) of contaminated LitterPearls before they gave me a refund. I even demanded they inspect the second shipment to confirm the LitterPearls were pure white before they shipped them and they promised to do so! Apparently their inspector is color-blind!

I purchased this because I use the "Forever Litter Tray", and I was desperate for litter but "Just the Crystals" was not available at Amazon. I had hoped that this product would be a comparable alternative but unfortunately, I found that it is NOT! Personally, I own the ScoopFree litter box so that I have to deal with the litter box and kitty poop less, but after I began using this litter I noticed that the litter box required my attention on a daily basis! My main complaint is that the crystals are way too large (about 3 times too large) for the ScooopFree sifter and a majority of the litter ends up under the lid that hides the poop, rendering it useless and unused. Despite daily maintenance, my home stunk, a lot of unused litter was wasted, and the litter box required a complete cleaning due to pee being stuck to the bottom of it. I am not the only one who hated this litter... My cat hated the stuff! She, who is Siamese and characteristically vocal to begin with, complained more than normal (giving me a headache), and even refused to use the litter box at times. She resorted to peeing next to the litter box and even used an empty card board box, which she had previously enjoyed napping in. This crystal litter may work for a traditional litter box as an alternative to traditional clay litter or clumping litter, but I don't know - so this is the only reason that I didn't give it a one star rating. As for its use with the ScoopFree litter box, I don't recommend it!

I’ve used clay-based litter for years, as it’s easily available in grocery stores. Tried this because the dust and tracking through the house made me nuts. This is pricey in comparison, but saves my mental health! Very low tracking! No weird perfume, no smell! Never using other litter ever again!

I will never go back to any other type of litter! Urine smell? GONE. My cats had zero issue with transitioning from clumping litter to this. Filled two large litter boxes with one bag, and it lasted 6 weeks before I had to change it out! Fabulous product.
