I put it on my work bench easily. The supplied plastic jaw covers where good and protects the wood pieces I was using. OK recommended 👌

I have purchase a number of mini vices over the years, this is by far the one with the best “feel”. Interestingly the box when it was delivered felt quite heavy, down to the cast metal construction. Previous vices were made from a cast alloy material and were a lot lighter. It will only be used for light jobs so perfect for my needs.

But I had to file around the grip as there were some very sharp edges. The 2 rubber pieces for the grip are bent and don't sit on it properly.
