My hair is also extremely thick. I struggled to straighten my hair from middle school to my mid 30s. Then I found the ION products, hallelujah!!!! Luckily I chose ION for my first “pricey” hair straightener (lucky guess from all the straighteners in that aisle), and boy did I choose correctly!!! I go from a mop head to straight, smooth and shiny in about 20 minutes!!! I never thought my hair could get this straight! I use the ION heat spray while I’m straightening, and I top it off with the Humidity serum. Y’all…. No joke…. My hair can get sprinkled on and not frizz up with this stuff. And overall my hair feels softer and is shinier when I get done! I don’t know if they are putting pixie dust or angel tears in their products, but what ever it is makes my hair it’s bitch!!!!! I highly recommend ION products. Everything I’ve tried from this brand has tamed my stubborn, coarse curly hair and makes me prettier ☺️ On top of that, they are great quality yet still affordable. You can’t go wrong!!

You only need a tiny dab of this, rub into your hands and then apply to wet hair. Will dry virtually friz free and styles nicely.

Hoes on smooth, eliminates frizz.

This product really works! I like it so much I have it shipped to Australis where I now live, even though the shipping costs are high. As a mixed race woman I had difficulty finding products ro smooth my hair in subtropical Brisbane and and decided to see if any of the products I used in the states were available to be shipped to Australia. Voila! Ion's serum could be shipped. I ordered several bottles and could not be happier with the results for my hair. As Brisbane becomes more multiracial, I hope this serum becomes available here. It works!
