Reformulating products people love is never easy, but the previous extract that we were using became unavailable. We are now using a new brand of deglycyrrhizinated licorice called GutGard™. The benefit of this material is that it is higher in flavonoid content so that the same efficacy is achieved with a lower dose of DGL. The amount of DGL extract per serving is lower than previous formulas but delivers the same valuable benefits with more potency per milligram.
