Did just what I wanted - no wifi dropouts throughout the house
I bought this to extend my Wi-Fi signal to the upper most level of my house. I purchased the TP-Links extender because I have Wemo light switches and plugs in my home and recently moved a Wemo plug to a bedroom, the furthest away from the router, to turn a light on and off. I used it with Alexa and sometimes the switch worked and sometimes it didn't. Thinking that my Wi-Fi was not reaching that area of the house I purchased the TP-Link extender. The extender solved the problem, was easy to install, although I had to reinstall the Wemo system, and I was up and running in just a few minutes. Now I have greater speeds in my great room with my computer and the Wemo plug works every time now. Great price for a renewed product too.
