Not sure what you mean by inner frame. It has only 3 parts, the base (gold part) which has the gas burner, the silver part is removable for cleaning, and the gas cannister. That's it! Totally portable.

What is the difference between the "slim ii" model and the "slim iii" model?

The only differences are the color and the adoption of the heat panel system.
