Ram balls and mounts are the best. This C size is overkill for most applications, but I’d rather use something too big rather than too small. Plus next to a B the C just looks right for larger items like iPads. It’s been my experience the diamond bases are just as strong as the round bases although sometimes round ones just look better. Form follows function but you also have to look at it. Every Ram product I have ever bought has “patented” on it yet Amazon is flooded with rip offs. Stop supporting the knockoffs! Ram is the original and still the best. Mostly made in the US although lately they say some things might be made overseas and they’re working on increasing production. I am NOT buying it.
