Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer, Ultra-Lightweight, Controls Shine, Doesn’t Feel Greasy, 1oz

I love that this product keeps my makeup on all day without having to reapply. I use Maybelline fit me foundation and concealer. I have tried other primers such as One/Size secure the sweat primer and it just sheds or pills off, it doesn't want to stay. Plus it doesn't keep my face oil free or sweat free. But the Rimmel london primer really works wonders with the Maybelline foundation and concealer. Also I have used some other higher priced silicone primers and they only help with my pores but not keeping my face oil free. But the Rimmel london primer works!! The only thing I would say about this primer is around the corners of my nose I still struggle with keeping my skin oil free around that area and my chin sometimes. It gets shiny. But even if my face does get shiny throughout the day it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be with other primers. Thank God I found this primer. I will continue to buy it. This primer truly makes a difference when it comes to keeping my skin mostly shine free and oil free. I love this stuff. Update!!!: the One size secure the sweat primer does work it just requires proper technique when applying and having the time to warm the product up on your finger tips and making sure you pay it into the skin and slightly rub it in gently but it takes practice. That's the only thing about it I struggle with at times but I still gone back to Rimme London primer time and time again mainly for the price cause I could buy like 5-6 of these by the time I buy one tube of the one size pruner not saying it doesn't work but it takes practice. I know before I said it pills but it comes with technique and letting the product sit and dry down before applying foundation or concealer and I feel anyone who doesn't have much time when they apply makeup would benefit from this primer just let it sit for a minute if that as long as you gently rub it into your face you will be fine. Plus I still use Maybelline fit me foundation and concealer but I tend to use the concealer more since it works better for me doesn't necessarily help with oily skin but pairing it with this primer and some face powder which I use Maybelline fit me pressed powder and at times I use Maybelline fit me loose powder but if I use the foundation it does tend to be more matte on my skin vs the concealer as well as if I use the concealer it is more natural finish I guess but slightly dewy so I tend to need the presses powder but I do like the loose powder as it doesn't make my face look cakey plus a tip if you use the pressed powder and want it less matte and alittle more dewy you can spray your face with the Milani make it last setting spray and it will help also I like to finish it off with la girl pro oil control setting spray in the pink bottle since it helps the face not be oily or as oily. I also in the past have used onesize secure the blur and I like it as well just have to make sure you finish your makeup with products to help with oil control and that's all especially if you have oily skin.

This primer applies smoothly and helps create an even base for makeup. It controls shine well and leaves the skin feeling soft without being heavy. Makeup stays in place longer throughout the day. Excellent quality for an affordable price.

This primer worked well for me. I put it in my tee zone which can get a bit oily some times. It keeps it matte and makes my pores less visible. The price is good too which is very important for me. I used it both in summer and winter!

This should be named "Miracle Matte!" It is, hands down, the best primer I have ever used I have tried several from high-end cosmetic companies paying around $30 per product and they don't even come close to providing the smooth coverage of this product. It doesn't settle into fine lines and controls shine longer than other products, albeit not all day. And at the price it is an absolute steal! Customer for life!

Pros Helps control shine for a few hours. Lightweight compared to many traditional cream primers. Smooths the skin and creates a good base for makeup. Easy to apply and blends without much effort. Affordable option for everyday use. Cons The cream texture isn't my favorite for oily skin. I personally prefer gel-based primers, which tend to absorb faster and feel lighter. Shine control is decent, but not exceptional for very oily skin. Can feel a little heavy compared to gel formulas. Overall This primer is okay and gets the job done, but I wouldn't call it a favorite. It helps create a smooth base for makeup, but as someone with EXREMELY oily skin, I much prefer gel-like formulas that absorb more quickly and feel less noticeable on the skin. It's not a bad product, just not the texture I personally reach for.

First time purchased I used this morning and face looks flawless. No oily spots. Needless to say I bought another one when I got home! So glad I found it!

Exactly as described; works well to keep makeup in place and feels lightweight. This goes really well on my skin, although I’d recommend using a beauty blender and blends slowly and evenly upward and across because I found it a little too sticky in my palms and therefore doesn’t spread out as evenly compared to when I use the blender. You don’t have to use much; 1–2 dots for every desired area should be sufficient. I love the fact that it’s matte and it works well as an eye shadow primer; keeps things in place and doesn’t ‘cake up’ when I apply foundation. Before using this, no matter how careful I was with my makeup, I would still experience some smudging from my eyeliner, but with this primer combined with a my $3.00 liquid eyeliner and wet n wild, the problem is resolved. Real pleased with the price point, too.

Great quality as well as quantity You won’t regret just buy it if you need one of them. I don’t write a review often unless I like it big time. This is one of them However, I wouldn't recommend it if you have dry skin.
