Good quality for the price; better than the ones that came with the trailer. No defects and easy to install. Really nice to see we can still get quality materials at a decent price. I would purchase again. I used this product to replace the cheap plastic door latch that broke on my cargo trailer. The holes lined up perfectly with the stock door catch holder and bracket. Only recently installed, so there is no telling at this point how well it will hold up to weather and other elements. But the new metal catch holder and the bracket are much better than the manufacturer’s choice of using the plastic latch.

Works good, but all based upon install. I left too much slack and it unhooks sometimes. Make sure correct tension before screwing ;)

This is a very nice latch that is very well made. I did have to bend the shaft to match the angle of my door. I was a bit disappointed that there were no mounting screws included.

I searched long and hard before buying one of these to replace my old brittle cracked RV door latch that holds my door open in the summer and keeps the wind from slamming the door closed. This one was a perfect match with the mounting holes on my RV installed quickly and easily and is much much more sturdy than the old plastic one. I am very happy I decided to buy this one. I believe this is the last time I will have to replace this on my RV because this one is built to last. Thanks!

I purchased this to replace the plastic latch that broke on our fifth wheel. It's much stronger than the plastic one was. The only problem which is not the manufacturer's fault is that the screw pattern is not the same as the one that I took off. Not a big issue and it did not affect the quality of it in any way. This one is a hundred percent better than the original plastic part. Shipping was fast and the price was great.

I drove all over town going to every store I could possibly think of to find one of these little gadgets, to replace the broken one on our camper. No luck, but only took me a couple of minutes to find this one on Amazon, and it is perfect. Easy to install, very sturdy.
