You can take the size information in the product page as a reference, as long as the size fits for you, they won't slide down.

How much do the stockings stretch at the thighs?

They'll stretch about inch & half give or take a little. One problem though. Need to sew on a small hooking system like a brastrap has. The zipper tends to work itself down. Other than that, good fit and looks.
