I bought this since I didn’t want to change my fixture and wanted light by my garage but if I left the light on it would shine into my bedroom. These bulbs worked PERFECTLY! They notice you about 2-3 feet away, turn on for about 10-30 seconds, bright enough to see what you’re trying to do but isn’t blinding. During the day they don’t turn on at all. I rarely write reviews but I was so happy with how well these preformed!

These bulbs work as expected. They turn on when you’re about 10-5 feet away. Not as bright as expected for a 5000k bulb.

They seem to work well and very responsive to movement. I read some reviews and was under the assumption that if I had a clear covering to my porch light, they would still work. This is not the case. The bulb was completely enclosed in a clear glass globe and would not work right. After I removed the globe, it worked great. So, just a heads up!

I got these to put on my front porch. Leave the light on all the time and the light only comes on when it senses movement. I could see these being useful in a basement.

I liked these bulbs when they were new, but after a couple of months, the activation distance began to reduce. The lights would not trigger unless the object was very close. I tried cleaning the surface of the bulb, did not help. They have been installed for at least 2 years now. They have not burned out, but they do not activate unless the motion is within 3-4 feet. So, the person has to be knocking on my front door before the light comes on. I'll replace the bulbs with something else. Short term - great. Long term - fail.

I'm a lazy kinda guy. I have smart switches and bulbs in every room, including my garage. But there are a couple of places I only need light for a few seconds and don't want to give Alexa a command or flip a switch. That's where these come in handy. I used one in my pantry, which is nice for when I'm just grabbing something quickly or putting groceries away. I also put one in my walk in closet, but I realized something with that location. At first, it didn't come on when I'd go in the closet. I was kind of disappointed, but then I realized the sensor is on the top of the bulb. That's what detects motion and turns it on so I repositioned it so the top of the bulb pointed at the door. Now it works perfectly so that's the key. In a small area like my pantry, the bulb is directly overhead so it "sees" me all the time. But in the closet, it wasn't pointing where it would notice my motion. Make sure you leave off any dome or covering, point it where it will pick up motion, and enjoy!

These did not work very well at all. They would not turn on when I walked in and then would all of the sudden would turn on when no one was on the enclosed porch. they would also not turn off automatically. I did end up returning them.

Put it in my bedroom closet as we were forgetting to turn the light out. Works great.
