A very cute product that works as advertised😊. My daughter is obsessed with Blippi and enjoys moving him how she wants. I was hesitant at first because of the comments saying he repeats the same four sayings over and over, however, I discovered something. If Blippi is in try me mode, then the four sayings repeat instead of the eight as advertised. Once Blippi is switched to the on mode he says the eight sayings as advertised. It took me awhile to figure this out as I never payed attention to the switch on the back, but hopefully this information helps someone else😊.

So my daughter is a fresh two years old. She freaking LOVES Blippi. Specifically BLIPPI FIRETRUCK (imagine the shrill screams of a then one year old girl). We're gonna have a FIRETRUCK! themed birthday party. Thanks to algorithms pushing everything digitally consumed back at me in the form of advertisement, my daughter's constant Blippi consumption had triggered this smiling bastard doll into my feed. GREAT! BUY! I'M GONNA BE THE COOLEST DAD EVER!Little girl gets this doll on her birthday and FLIPS! BLIPPI! So we unpack ol' Blippi from his packaging. This thing has some heft! Have they weighted the packaging or something? Unpacked Blippi falls into my hand. JESUS THIS THING IS SOLID! They spared NO EXPENSE when they ordered the plastic to mold this bastard. Great, I stupidly think, for durability's sake.Days go by. Weeks. Just normal play with ol' Blippi. Articulating his legs and arms into poses. Sliding down slides. Pushing that bow tie. "It's me! Blippi!"Then it happened. My sweet daughter THROTTLES BLIPPI ACROSS THE ROOM AT MY FACE! Need I remind you of Blippi's incredibly sturdy, weighty construction? His highly articulated limbs now centripetally forced outward forming a swirling ninja star of Blippi blue and orange? His freaking GIANT ROCK SOLID feet that hold him so surely to the floor in silly poses?Blippi connects. Hard. More than once. His arm and feet connect with my forehead and nose as he spins mercilessly in my face. All while his speaker, nestled behind a solid 4mm thick lattice of plastic in his back, exclaims "It's me! Blippi!" Truly nightmare material.We both learned something that day. My daughter learned that we DO NOT throw Blippi. I learned that a Blippi ninja star to the face will incapacitate any intruder while simultaneously confusing them with psychopathic Blippi HAHAHAHA's in the dark.
