Does it make your hair still feel soft or does it become crunchy? How strong is the hold of it? How shiny is it?

I have short hair and I apply it while my hair is wet. After drying, my hair has more volume but is definitely not "crunchy". I would call the hold moderate and have not noticed that it gives my hair any shine.

Why did they discontinue the melting gel? this stuff does not even come close. after years of using the melting gel, i will have to switch brands

I like this better than melting gel.

Do this gel give that wet hair look or does your hair just look dry?

This gel is extremely wet for some reason I do not recommend it unless you are going for a wet look. It does get hard but not crispy/hard like with other gels.
