Runs big. Honestly, order a size down if you don't know which size you are. *by V***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2021* I wear a size 12 or 12.5 in nearly every athletic brand known to man - Brooks, Asics, Altra, Nike, etc. Without inserts, it's still a 12 or 12.5. If I want to wear PowerSteps instead of regular inserts, its 12.5 or bust.With these, a size 11 is nearly perfect for my feet. When walking and the straps lightly tightened, my feet perfectly fit the platform, with a little bit of extra room at the top. My heels aren't spilling out the back and unless I don't tighten the straps or I slip around a lot, my feet are on the platform the entire time.PLEASE consider getting the right size for you. Try a pair if you have to before ordering. These guys do fit well when they fit, but "ordering up" as most people here suggest is a bad idea. I also see that all other reviews have been removed as well.Basically gist of my review is buyer beware. I went through two different pairs from Amazon that had very awful defects evident either right out of the box or within the first week. These were both sold and shipped by Amazon, not a third party.I finally gave up on Amazon and decided to try one last time and purchased directly through Zappos instead. Those were in perfect shape right out of the box and have withstood 7+ miles of hiking, and other outdoor wear so far with no issues.Amazon insists the Chacos they were selling are not counterfeit. So I decided to try men's chacos. These are super comfortable, and your feet don't slip and slide around in them, so they are great for hiking.I have worn these shoes hiking in Palo Duro Canyon, kayaking and just around town. The only problem I had was when I had walked about six miles (and this was after other days of lots of hiking), my pinking toe was feeling like it might blister. I put a preventative bandaid on and kept going. There were no more issues and my feet felt fine.These shoes are also pretty easy to adjust and very easy to wash. You can just chunk them in the washing machine.For any ladies out there thinking about buying men's chacos, I usually wear a women's size 10. I have a slightly wide foot, but can normally get away with wearing normal, medium width shoes.
