Soft rose-gold tone, low odor, easy application
Shade 8.22 came out close to the swatch—rose gold without looking brassy. The cream spreads evenly, doesn’t drip, and the ammonia-free formula has a mild scent. Instructions are clear; I processed ~30 minutes and hair felt conditioned afterward. Color has held well so far and fades toward a peachy blonde rather than dulling out. Good at-home option if you want a subtle pink tone—do a strand test and check sizing if you have long or thick hair. I recommend it.

pleasantly surprised!
I have been this color for 2 1/2 years, only using Feria (F) brand because that's all I could find. I saw this and tried it. I was concerned that the consistency of the mixed product as it is very thick. I figured it was because of all of the oils used in it. My hair is thin and fine so I had just enough, for thick hair, you will need more than one bottle application to fully cover. I left it on for 30 minutes (per instructions) now, normally, it would turn a dark color while developing (F) but this one stayed a nice pink, not on the purple side as with (F). I am so pleased with the end result! nice pink with gold highlights in the sun. And it does NOT smell like I just colored my hair! I will buy this again, and again! I am reformed away from (F), sorry guys :) I would upload a picture but my phone is being dumb.

This rose gold turns out ... interesting, it may have lighteners
First off, I'm definitely not an expert, but I've dyed my hair at least 30 times. Right when my box was delivered (came with a packing bubble and was not damaged) I went to dye my hair. I had about 5 inches of dark blonde roots and the rest bleached blonde back from January. It took about 45 minutes, root to tips, to fully coat my hair thoroughly. I waited 20 minutes after I finished for it to set, since my roots have been covered for 30 min already. I followed the directions for rinsing and conditioning and I'd say the final color is interesting. My roots are like a rosy orange. I'm assuming this dye has some kind of lightener in it, otherwise I wouldn't have an orange hue. Hair between the roots and ends got some rosiness, and the ends are pretty light. The dying process was the fastest I've ever done, it could be from the consistency of the dye or partly my long hair is easier to dye than when I had short hair. I barely smelled the dye through the whole process. I could have waited even longer to see if the result would be darker (I used to wait an hour after twisting my hair in a bun just to make sure) but I chose to do this before work so the standard time had to do. All in all I like the color that's on the bleached part of my hair, but I really don't like the orange. That's why I'm only rating 4 stars. I'm going to try a blue/purple shampoo to offset the orange, and if I still have a weird root color I'm going to try the rose quartz dye next. With the pictures, the first is my original hair, then pics of the gradient and roots.

Not quite rose gold...
It dyed my hair more of a gold color than any sort of pinkish hue. I have bleached blonde hair (not fresh bleach) and I was surprised by how poorly any kind of rose gold color showed up. I'm giving this a higher rating than I normally would because my hair is so soft after dying it. I always worry about damaging my hair with dyes, but this didn't dry it out and actually the conditioner made it so soft and shiny that my friends noticed that way more than they noticed the actual dye when I saw them the day after I used the dye. I would be interested in maybe trying more intense colors.
