This is a serious question, not sarcastic, since shampoo isn't supposed to be eaten.** A: It's not supposed to be eaten, but when you rinse the shampoo off your hair, obviously some of it can get on your face and in your mouth, especially when you're a little kid. People with Celiac disease must not digest ANY gluten, even in trace amounts. The scent is light and clean, not too strong or artificial, which I actually like for kids products. It lathers nicely, washes out easily and doesn’t leave any residue. After rinsing, her hair feels soft and fresh, not dry or tangled. We’ve used it several times already and she has had zero irritation on her scalp (which sometimes happens with other brands). The pump bottle is also convenient in the shower. Not the cheapest option, but the quality matches the price.
