Works well for sleep
My son has been using this formula to combat his ADHD related sleep disturbances for several years now. With the combination of valerian, chamomile, and melatonin in addition to a few other ingredients, it seems to give him better sleep than the 5 mg melatonin he'd been taking prior. I'm a chronic insomniac and have taken it on a couple occasions when I had less time to sleep than my usual medicine provides. It gave me decent sleep considering it takes something akin to a chemical sledgehammer to keep me asleep. I'm in the process now of backing of my usual prescription and supplementing the reduced dose with Super Snooze. My hope is that in time, I can make the switch.

Excellent Sleep Aid!
This is the best melatonin out there. I use to get it at CVS, but the pricing is way better on Amazon. The best I've seen is sometimes you buy one get one at CVS for about $12 you get 2 boxes! But you really have to look out for that sale!

Best thing so far for sleep. "SUPER SNOOZE" not regular one.
It was suggested to me by my female practitioner, to try this instead of a r/x I used for several years-- neurontin--as it's "off label" use was for improving sleep. Not addictive at all, but didn't like side effects.Super Snooze is so natural with the normal dose of melatonin, and some chamomile, too. Nothing else.Also,(this part was just edited 02-26-15) I take one capsule 30-45 mins before bedtime, with no side effects. However, I don't sleep as soundly as when it was a new intro to my system. But I am dreaming again... an important part of sleep cycling, which small dose of neurontin inhibited totally. It was later blamed for memory loss... and is why dr. recommended the Super Snooze instead. Even if I can't remember the dream, I know I had one. Sounds unimportant, but even if one doesn't remember dreams, it's necessary, as a recurring sleep cycle in everyone.Interesting caveat: Physicians and scientists agree that we are inundated by far too much light AFTER sundown, with bright lights all over the cities, in hospitals, businesses for nighttime workers, brighter tv's, pc screens etc... and our bodies begin to produce the hormone, melatonin, AFTER daylight. Even migration appears to be affected, as too much light is penetrating flight paths for birds, when they normally fly in darkness. All things connect...IMPORTANT! There are 2 brands of Sundown Melatonin, but "Super Snooze" is the preferred one by my dr. Very natural.

My husband has issues falling and staying asleep. Rx meds did not work well, and had side effects.Sundown's Melatonin works wonders for him, especially with his varied schedule and work hours.
