A: yes it does

**Q: Is this the Insert or the actual shield?**
A: This is an insert that fits onto your helmet's shield. If you look on the inside of your visor/shield, you will see a small pin on each side. This pinlock insert fits between those pins, and then seals itself to your shield/visor preventing any moisture from forming between the two. When, at some point moisture gets inbetween the pinlock and shield/visor, the pinlock can be removed, allowed to air dry, and re-inserted.

I was amazed at how well this item worked. I've had pinlock equipped motorcycle helmets before but never purchased this easily attachable lens until now. I would suffer with decreased visibility until I forced to open the shield enough to allow the cold air to defog it. No more! This eliminates the majority of that fog immediately. My only regret...I didn't purchase this item years ago!
