Overall this is a really fantastic scooter, and far better than most kick scooters on the market, even those at twice the price. Pro's: aesthetically pleasing design, strong build quality, easy to collapse, erect and adjust handlebar height, a brake that actually works (and very well)*, handy kick stand, wide standing platform, comfortable and grippy handlebars. Con's (caveat - some of these may be specific to my scooter): front mudguard significantly off-centre causing on side of the front tyre to almost come in to contact with it, rear mud guard not in lateral alignment with rear wheel, wonky placement of rear mudguard reflector sticker, kick stand difficult to deploy with foot due to it stowing too snugly underneath the platform and not projecting laterally, *rear disc brake set up was poor ie requiring full activation of brake lever for callipers to begin to make contact with disc (I had to adjust the brakes myself and they now work great, however, for less able customers this could really affect their rider experience. Please note that I have been quite fastidious in observing the build quality of this scooter and for most some of these observations may not even be noticed. Suggestions for seller - pay more attention to build quality details and reject products not up to standard, refine rear disc brake set-up before dispatching product (you cannot rely on videos and/or customers mechanical/DIY ability, especially fresh out of the box). Refine kick stand design so that it can be deployed as intended i.e. with the foot (at present it's stowage position doesn't expose enough of the kickstand to allow foot deployment). Readers - please do not let this review put you off. You will NOT find a better kick scooter at the same pricepoint. My previous kick scooter from a well known high-street retailler cost £11 more, the brake was almost non-existent, the platform was not as generous as this one and its visual look was poor in comparison to this Toucan. So despite my list of cons I would definitely recommend this scooter to friends and family. Thank you Toucan.

It's a great scooter. Like anything though, you have to maintain it, adjust bolts etc. I'm a 14 stone guy and use it daily for a commute. It's easier than a bike and safer if you prefer to stay off the roads. Also the workout is brilliant. It's basically lunges, bending one leg and pulling with the other. Once you learn to swap you can even out the exercise. Folds really easily and easy to carry. Also looks great.

I loved this scooter but two of the bolts have snapped over a two month period and now the whole locking system has broken, the metal is split and it collapses every time I ride it.

The time it lasted was great and it would have lasted a lot longer if I wasn't over the max weight. It does need a lot of fixing before you use it though and then a bit for fine tuning after.

Great scooter for an adult man commuting to London. Great customer service too.

Brand new and after few uses it gets very wobbly. It's very insecure. Unfortunately I bought 2 and I regret it. Too much money for the quality. The only positive thing about it, is the design. I have to admit it does look good. But that's about it. Won't recommend.

Brilliant scooter, nice and sturdy. My partner uses it also and he’s 6 ft. Very fast and comfortable to use. Plus colour is lovely. Very happy :)
