Review: I have had my eye on buying the 5lb tub of primo chalk for quite some time and it certainly DID NOT disappoint. I lift weights and I also indoor rock climb so I am constantly testing my finger/ hand strength which means I'm always tearing the skin off my hands. I have used other brands of chalk which do the job but Primo Chalk is in its own category. The chalk is so fine that you only need a bit of it to cover both hands (finger tips to palms). I find that a quick layer of chalk will last me through at least 2 set of me lifting weights or at least through one route of climbing holds at my local climbing gym. I find that after my workouts once i was washed the chalk off my hands that my hands feel softer. I have noticed that other reviews say that they notice a cinnamon or lavender smell. I don't get that from my chalk but i will say that it smells clean/ pure it definitely a different smell than other chalk brands. I say if you are trying to decide what chalk to use Primo Chalk is he only way to go and if you buy the 5lb tub, and your the only one using it, it'll be the only chalk you'll ever need.
Review: This stuff is certainly different than the typical Magnesium chalk that you see at every Crossfit box. This stuff has an odd, but not unpleasant, wintergreen/cinnamon smell, and it does actually seem to have a little bit of skin softeners/conditioners in it. It definitely provides a good grip on the barbell. If I had one complaint, I wish that the powder was slightly less fine. I think a slightly coarser grind would result in less powder flying around everywhere and would be a little bit more "substantial" when you rub it between your hands. Or maybe they could offer different fineness grades, like some of the top rock-climbing chalk makers do.

A: Our raw materials are always tested to avoid impurities, drying agents, heavy metals, and other fillers.

**Q: Does the bucket topper come with the 5lb bucket?**
A: Don’t know.  We only bought the 6 oz bag.  This stuff lasts a long time.  My son used it for track for pole vault and the bag would last a season.

**Q: Does the 6oz chalk come with a chalk ball?**
A: The 6oz bag and the chalk ball are sold separately. Though the 6 oz can be used to refill the chalk ball easily

**Q: How big is the 5lb bucket? Is it like a 5 gallon bucket? Or what are the dimensions?**
A: It is indeed a 5 gallon bucket. With the lid on it stands 15" high and is almost 12" in diameter.

This is a great value for chalk. I think the chalk is a bit to "cakey" for me. Chalk isnt easy to clean up but now its a bit harder to get off my pull up bars and floors. If you don't get it off immediately, it cakes on real quick and tough to remove from you gear. Keep a wire brush around for your bars. Other than that, good chalk and serves the purpose. I still prefer block chalk
