These are very nice straps and seemed to be better quality than similar straps which I saw in some local stores. They were easy to install with a wide selection of included screws to cover different television sets. I did look very carefully at the sketches on the instructions to make sure that I installed them in the correct direction and orientation. The curve on the metal end pieces is nice since it allows a better alignment of the strap with the required force direction than "straight" end pieces would have done. If you revise the instruction sheet, I suggest adding a list of the parts: upper strap (length), lower strap (length), and a list of the different sizes, lengths and types and number of screws. This information may also be useful in product descriptions so that buyers would know what hardware is included (that it is included), so they will know what additional hardware (screws and washers) they may need to provide. And you might also list a "maximum" and "minimum" recommended length for the straps when properly installed and adjusted. You might also want to include a "circled blow-up detail" of the cleats on each end on some of the sketches to show how the bend in the cleats should be oriented when they are installed just to draw attention to that detail. I have several references which recommend pilot holes for various screw sizes and materials, so I was able to measure the wood screw sizes and select the appropriate pilot hole size from those tables based upon "hard wood", "soft wood" and "metal". A small table in the instructions giving this information for the included wood screws would be nice for people who aren't familiar with these details. I installed pairs of the straps on two television sets to preclude "forward tipping".

Much nicer than the other straps I've seen and bought. Overbuilt- I'm fairly certain an adult could hang from one of these straps. The gunmetal grey finish is a nice touch. Buckle is very easy to adjust, unlike some others. Comes with a plethora of mounting hardware, so you should be able to attach it to just about anything- furniture, tvs, studs, and drywall. Their customer service department even checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the purchase. If they were half the price I'd only buy these instead of the cheaper straps with plastic plates. However, the price of these can add up quickly. Nonetheless, I'd definitely recommend these. It is worth noting that the "2 Pack" comes with two straps, or enough to do one tv or wide/tall piece of furniture.

First, under "Features" it mentions ABS Plastic - Nothing is plastic. The attachments and strap adjustments are sturdy metal. It also mentions included tools - there are none. There are every kind of screw and wall anchor you might need. Beyond that - it is "as described". Simple to install and use. Serves it's purpose well. Very sturdy - I have it anchoring a 75" flat screen TV quite securely. Nothing to not like here. It does what it says it does.

They help me sleep at night. Make sure you get someone who has a clue to install. You need a stud finder. I installed these myself and then tried to pull them off the wall using a relative amount of force and they didn't rip out of the wall, so they seem effective. I'm convinced if I rip hard enough I could jerk it out of the wall, my dresser still leans, but the straps stop it from coming down. I'll probably have a buddy of mine check it bc I'm not a carpenter. The straps are metal and durable, product is good, just get someone who knows how to use a drill and find studs etc

Misleading. Sturdy straps but you need to buy a one "6-pack" of these for each TV/Dresser you need to stabilize. I thought at first this will help in stabilizing three different things but it only works for one item at a time. You also need to find a stud for it to work perfectly, which I understand for better attachment. However, a good stud finder is at least $45.

We are using these straps to ensure that a tall and heavy china cabinet doesn't fall forward. The floor is a little uneven and the piece rocked forward fairly easily. I feel confident that you can not accidentally knock into it and have it fall.

The good: The straps are sturdy and with adequate brackets and solid stiching on seems. Easy to install if you are comfortable with DIY projects. The bad: The screws are cheap and strip very easily. 3 screws stripped immediately and the head of the 4th broke off making me have to move the entire bracket to a new positon. The instructions are not only wrong but potentially damgerous. For starters it indicates that the strap should have 2 different brackets [see pictures] one with a small center hole and the other with a larger center hole. All brackets were extacly the same. The instructions also clearly state to have the strap loop up from the bottom and out the top of the clasp and even has a picture depicting this. However in this configuration the staps would actually come loose when the furniture falls foreward making the strap worthless. I tested this and it was wrong. With the straps I got it should aactually be reversed and the loose strap should face down as seen in my picture. That way when the drasser falls forward the clasp tightens the strap securly and prevents it from falling. I tested this configuration as well and it works flawlesly as in my picture. They need to work on their instructions and find a new supplier for the screws.

Product is as described and easy to setup. Great value and quality especially compared to similar products out there. We got this so we could secure a 32" flatscreen to my son's dresser in his room and not worry it would come crashing down easily.
