Beautiful blue!
Will update this in a few weeks because I colored my hair two days ago and I recently washed it. I got this color blue smoke on sale, because I'm cheap, and it was my second choice of dye. It smells amazing and sweet! I wish there was a shampoo with this scent since it is delicious! I left it in my hair for about 2 hours and while I waited I cleaned any small residual dye in my sink. My hair is waist length so just a few spots of my hair took about 45 minutes to saturate which I did anticipate. My roots were previously bleached, but not platinum like my bangs were so I was surprised a lot of my bleached areas came out to be a dark bright blue. I did get some green patches, but they weren't too noticeable since they're more teal than just green. After coloring I had used a conditioner mask after for a few minutes then rinsed it out. I typically use cold water when washing my hair to avoid drying it out.

Amazing brand over all one of my go to brands
I absolutely LOVE unicorn hair dye. One of my go to brands. Coverage is great and lasts. Easy clean up around the skin if youโre fast or use the proper prep. I change my hair color very often and this stuff doesnโt harm the hair and it smells soooo good.

Better than expected, but keep your expectations in check
Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone-- I have dark Asian hair that was balayaged 3 months ago. I bought this not expecting much and just praying my hair wouldn't be green afterwards. I applied as instructed, wrapped in plastic and left on for just over 2 hours. The lighter pieces did turn blue! The coverage wasn't completely even, and after speaking with their customer service I'm going to do a second round to see if it adds more color. I think the key is really drenching the hair with the product and working it in like crazy. As I was applying, I thought I'd put in a good amount and could still see the blonde showing through and needing to add more, so I think it takes a lot of product to get a rich color. I was pretty careful and there was minimal mess, but I recommend you try and wipe up any mess as you go-- the longer it sits, the more it sets in. My hair is just above the shoulders, and I used maybe just a little over 1/2 a tub for the first application (maybe I should have used the whole thing). All in all, I'm reasonably happy with the result, though my expectations were low-- I'm just not willing to fry my hair to get it light enough, so being realistic about the result helps a lot. Would I do it again? Yes! UPDATE: I did a second application for 2 more hours, and my hair is DARK BLUE, almost black. I probably should not have kept it in as long. But if anyone is nervous about whether the color will hold, I recommend doing 1 application and then not conditioning after rinsing it out (because then you'll need to shampoo out any conditioner), and then doing a second application the next day. For me I had a much stronger (maybe too strong) result.

So pretty!
First, I just want to say that my hair has been damaged for months now, this has a huge part with my experience with this specific dye. I love Limecrime's hair dye, they never disappoint me. I've been wanting a deep navy/smokey blue for a while now, and I was having a hard time picking a brand/shade. Once I came across "Blue smoke" (it's a steel blue) I fell in love! Before dyeing my hair, my hair was a faded blue that had some green tint here and there. So I didn't bleach or try to strip that color, I just went ahead and plopped the Blue Smoke onto my hair. Near my roots it's more of the navy-ish blue I was looking for. But where there were green tint from before, it's now a turquoise color. I wash my hair twice a week, once with shampoo&conditioner and once with conditioning/bonding treatment. The color has faded a very tiny bit, and I can't stress enough how little it has faded. I dyed my hair on May 28th, it is June 15th right now. It's still vibrant, it made my hair very soft after I washed it out, it smells AMAZING. If you're looking for a nice deep steel/navy blue, this is it. My hair is super damaged and the color still holds! Depending how damaged your hair is, it might hold well for you too!! I always recommend LimeCrime to my friends when it comes to vibrant hair dye
