KEEN Men's Targhee 3 Oxford Casual Hiking Shoes

this particular shoe is like hugs for your feet. the insole wears out after 6 months of use, the shoe after a year of heavy use. i am trim carpenter. lightweight, great value for money, comfortable(until insole wears out and show eventually explodes)(i tried something else and came right back to these hugs) the leather upper holds up better in my trade than some of the other materials(high dust environment)

My search for some hiking shoes let me to try these KEEN hikers after not getting a good fit with another higher end hiking shoe. I wore these around the house for several days before taking them out on the street, just to be sure they were going to fit well, and the heel in the arch area. As advertised, there’s plenty of room in the toebox, but there’s a great fit for the arch and heel area, so the shoe feels great! I normally wear a size 11 in crosstrainers, and an 11 in this KEEN shoe worked perfectly. These make great looking casual everyday shoes. I love the leather, the shoes are easy to lace up to tighten them just right on my feet, and the tread has great grip. If anything changes after I actually go out on a hiking trail, I will add to this review. However, from what I’ve experienced so far, I believe they’re going to be comfortable and hopefully durable hiking shoes. I am pleased! UPDATE:I haven’t made it to the trail yet, but I teach school and have worn these to school several days… Today I realized they are more comfortable than the cross trainer sneakers that I usually wear. Very comfortable as I’m on my feet all day!

The absolute most comfortable safety toe shoes I've ever had. I have problem feet, 5 foot surgeries between the 2 so I reeeally struggle to find comfort. These are light weight, not clunky, feel like a tennis shoe, wide toe box so my toes dont rub against the hard safety toe. Love! My only issue is the back broke down after awhile because I dont untie them and I slip my foot in and out because my job is very grossly dirty and my shoes get our product all over them so I dont like to touch them to tie and untie. A slip in heal would be nice...but keep the lace up

These were obvious returns but in almost perfect shape, just a few scuffs Broken in out of the box (maybe because we're returned) True to size. I got wide and seems to be just enough room Waterproof as heck But Not breathable (or barely breathable), after wearing to the office once my feet were swampy and the shoes smelled when taken off This is the only con I can find They're slightly heavy but super rugged and no slipping on wet mud or concrete

These are great shoes. I'm 64 and I try to keep walking even though I have some health problems and these shoes make it easier to do so . They fit me perfect as a size 11. I've also had the Austins I wear around town and they have been great too. I hope keen never quits making these shoes. They are so comfortable. I find them true to fit. I didn't need any break in or anything. Just put them on and wear them. Good shoes are hard to find.

I've been wearing Keens for a good 20 years and have bought probably 30 pairs. They're perfect for my feet and I can walk 10-12 miles without sore feet. Literally the only brand I can do this with. In the past 6 or so years I have noticed a serious drop in quality and regularly have to return brand new shoes due to defects like bad stitching and rubber soles falling off. This last pair of Targhee 3 oxfords passed the initial inspection and so I put them away for later when I needed them. I recently went out of states for a month on combination business and holiday. These were the only pair of shoes I brought thinking they would double for business casual and comfort in my off time. Not a week into my trip in Europe walking around I noticed one shoe was dragging/making noise. This evening I happened to look over my shoes and found that the sole has separated almost completely from the upper. This is not some wear related incident as these shoes have only been worn for about 8 days, instead I am convinced that Keen shoes are now complete garbage. With 3 weeks left overseas I am forced to buy new shoes, which is not easy over here. I'll be stuck with some overly expensive and likely uncomfortable shoe. I don't want to go as far as saying Keen screwed me, but this is the final straw with a company I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. So now it's going to be very difficult to do my 10 to 12 miles of walking and touring every day. Thanks Keen shoes, you just ruined my trip. 0 out of 5 stars.

EXCELLENT And they're comfortable

These have become my go to shoes over the past 4 years. In that time I have gone through 3 of them, and while that may sound like it's a lot in that time frame, I was in construction, and that can be difficult on any kind of clothing. The padding is comfortable, the leather looks and feels good, the details are nice and clean, the grip of the soles are good, but my favorite thing about them is the sizing of the toe area. Lots of shoes like to push your toes to a point which can cause issues for your feet, but these ones give you plenty of space to be able to have your toes be able to move and not feel cramped or uncomfortable in what you are wearing. I still have all three pairs of shoes, and will wear them depending on what I am doing for outside work, and weather that day. My only complaint is that for me the threading around the toe area on the sides. Two of my three pairs have broken the exact same way.

Great bye, the price is fair and I always enjoyed a good pair of Keen shoes; they are comfortable, durable, and well made. This time I made sure to have one material as the two-tone soles have a tendency of letting water get in as they are a two-piece glued sole. The shoe is on the heavy side but ideal for day to day use.

Perfect fit 10. Excellent product, very comfortable shoe, best fitting shoes i have had in a long time, well worth the money. Used them a few times now and very happy with my purchase 😊
