I am a size 12 what is my recommended purchase size?

I got a size 12, I need to lose some weigh or get it let out... I'm normally a size 12 in anything else. Maybe do a size 14 and if that doesn't fit you can get it tailored to fit you. The dress is very pretty. I'm 5'3 and I don't need to get it shorten, I'm also wearing heels.
