Great Repair to extend the life of my doors
Drop in replacement rollers for my wood sliding patio door. Work great and Fit perfectly. Hardest part of the installation was figuring out how to remove the sliding door to be able to do the installation. The door rolls smooth and easy now. This saved me from having to replace the door - at least for a couple more years. Price was comparable with the big box store nearby who did not have the style I needed.

Huge improvement over 20+ year old original roller
These were an exact fit to original rollers.... Almost..... As another reviewer mention they just don't retract as much as the originals and getting the slider back in place was quite a chore and needed two people to reinstall where previously I could do it myself. Once over that hurdle adjustment was made and wow huge difference in the noise and pressure needed to open and close the door. The door functions just like new now. So glad I found these at AMAZON because they were twice the price at the local box store.

Smooth as silk & easy to install
I have a large sliding glass door in my living room, out onto a second story deck. The door is 48" wide, wooden frame, insulated glass, and HEAVY. After many years of operation, the old rollers failed & the door would not open. I tried getting quotes from Angi for a technician to repair the door; either no one was interested, or booked three weeks out, or wanted $450 - $600 estimate (plus parts) to make the repair. My daughter in law and I removed the door in five minutes, and removed the failed rollers in even less time. We took our time installing these new rollers because it became obvious that level adjustments needed to be calculated and made before re-installing the door. Measuring the recess on the bottom of the door, and height of the roller track, and how much the wheels needed to protrude (simple screw adjustment) were all we needed to do to complete the roller installation into the door. Ten minutes for that! Re-installing the door onto the roller track and into the door opening took 5 more minutes. Start to finish, 20 to 25 minutes. Easy peasy. Translated, that's an hourly rate of about $1500 an hour that I saved. Now the door opens and closes with one finger! You have to be careful to not slam it OPEN if it gets away from you! These are well made, heavy duty rollers. Adjusting and installation is simple & easy. and product measurements are well documented and clearly illustrated so you can be sure they fit your application before purchasing. AND they were much cheaper than the units my local hardware store carried. So stop wrestling with your old stubborn worn out door, spend 20-something bucks & save a lot of money without having to replace your door!

These work great for my sliding glass doors
I bought a house and the two breezeway sliding glass doors were un-usable because the rollers were completely rusted out and stuck. That being said, my screws were rusted out too, and stripped coming out, it was not fun.Given that this is a replacement part that your purchasing, yes the rollers work fantastically of course, but I only did 4 stars because I really wish they would have sent screws with them. I get why they don’t I guess, but I had to scrounge around my shed for screws that would work, with the thought of checking them in about 6 months or so to see if they’re still doing well, or if I need to go hunt down something specific at the hardware store. It’s a headache that they didn’t include screws with them. Just because it’s a replacement part, doesn’t mean I can still use the same screws I had before.Otherwise I’m super thrilled about my now slide-able doors!

Saved me a bunch of money!
My sliding door was so bad that I had been shopping for a new door. Then I found these. Nice sturdy product. Fit like a dream. Super simple to remove the old ones and replace with the new. Note to other buyers, there is a screw type fitting in the middle, if you turn it, it adjusts the height of the wheels. No instructions came with them so it took me a little playing around to figure it out. When I first installed them, the back of the door was too low. A few turns on the center adjustment screw, it fixed the problem. The door slides so very smoothly now. And I save somewhere between 1 -2 thousand dollars on the price of a replacement door!!

Absolutely Perfect!
After struggling with my sliding door for way too long & doing some research, I learned how they work & why mine didn't LOL. I purchased these wheels (my old wheels measured 1.5" but these worked fine), along with a new track, removed the old wheels (and track) and installed the new ones. Installation was so much easier than I ever expected! As a petite girly girl, I needed assistance in terms of moving the door in/out of the frame - it was VERY heavy, but installation was a breeze. The door now functions like new, if not better & I saved thousands of dollars over having an entirely new sliding door system installed. These wheels appear to be well-made & substantial. I'm confident they will serve me well for many years to come!

Wow! Rolls quick and smooth
Our patio slider ground to a hault and wouldn't open unless I used two hands and lifted it. I ordered these which were a perfect replacement for my jeld-wen patio door. Watch for any flanges or moldings above your sliding door which may need to be removed to get the door out of the track. Quick replacement with the help of two saw horses to lay the door down on and watch out, the door is heavy.
