Great material for repairing and creating around the house.
Sugru is great stuff - I've used it to create new brackets to fix refrigerator glass shelves, house numbers, and make new feet for electronics.

Repurchase!!!
I just checked my emails, and I've been ordering this magic stuff since October 2010. Over the years, the packaging has improved, the color range has expanded, and I'm happy to keep re-purchasing. I'm glad that I no longer have to pay international shipping, too. Most of the things I've repaired with it have lasted an additional three years before needing a re-do, and that is worth it to me. I've used it to patch the leather on my bicycle seat, make a stand for a painted rock, replace the grip on my glasses' temple arms, make high-viz bumper pads for my spouse's mags, soften the clang of my waterbottle, insulate fraying cords, make a grip for my Wacom pen, repair sentimental figurines; the list goes on and on! I've figured out ways to cope with it sticking to my fingers (dish soap works the best) and sticking where it shouldn't (cooking spray as a mold release). Overall, this is one of the best inventions I've enjoyed using. I store mine in the fridge to give it a longer life. It is closest in texture and function to a two-part epoxy, but it is more convenient. I pop a bag in my suitcase when I travel – just in case.

One-of-a-kind Product - I love Sugru - I want more!
I purchased this on a whim in order to fix a busted piece of plastic inside of my OneWheel having used it in the past for shoring up an expensive laptop power adapter cable. This stuff is really quite amazing. For my usage, I had a plastic threaded rod that snapped in half. It had an aluminum nut attached which was bouncing around in the interior of the controller board. I wanted to simultaneously eliminate the nut and fix the threaded rod (it connected to the power button, so it's pretty necessary!). The Sugru *did not stick* very well to the threaded rod, which was something I had expected but hoped would "get lucky" on. As it turned out, I *did* get lucky. After opening a pack, I smashed a large-ish portion of it along the rod (about 1" length with about half covered). After letting it sit for 24-hours, I had a very solid glob of "what once was goo" holding the rod together and everything in place. Though it didn't adhere directly to the rod very well, that worked out in my favor. With a little careful nudging, I could unscrew the wad of Sugru -- I'd basically made a very long, structurally acceptable ... nut. Since then, I've used this stuff all over the place. On the downsides - the 4- rather than 5- star review was given because: 1) It's expensive. You really don't get very much and once you've used it and discovered the strength, you'll want more. I don't know if this stuff is particularly expensive to make or if these folks just know there's nothing else out there that works. Frankly, a dollar a packet is *too much* let alone almost two dollars a packet. There's about enough to shore up two USB cables in each packet. I'd rather the packets have 2-3 times as much at about 1/2 the price, but as there's nothing else comparable to this product, I'm stuck -- and every time I find a use for it I run it through the "is that really worth $2-$4 to improve"? 2) It takes *forever* to cure. It remains as sticky/tacky as it did coming out of the container after several hours. At 12 hours, it's much more solid/less tacky -- really, pretty strong and about what I expected it to be when it was done (about half what the marketing copy implies). However, after 24 hours, it's done and *way* more durable than I expected. That's stored/cured indoors, low humidity, varying from 65-72 degrees. If you are covering a part and need to set it somewhere, set it on some plastic wrap; it won't stick but you'll also discover that the part touching the plastic wrap is less cured than the rest, as well, so move it around. The benefit of the added cure time is that it spoils slower; it also dries slowly, which -- as expected -- means that once you've formed it, it cures very smoothly; I noticed no difference between the formed and cured shape. It didn't shrink/wrinkle/otherwise deform while curing which is frequently a problem with glue-like-things that cure rapidly. Whatever chemical reaction is taking place, though, does warm the wad up noticeably but didn't affect the shape. 3) It expires, apparently. I have a few in packets that are from last Christmas. I just used one this weekend. It was as good as the ones I just bought. I read reviews indicating to store it in a fridge and expect it to be worthless after six months but my experience -- storing it in a drawer in my house and forgetting about it -- would suggest it lasts longer than that. I believe they've tweaked the formula a few times, so it might be that I just have a newer formulation than the one that caused the warnings, or the warnings are just wrong. Either way, it worked great at nearly a year with no care taken as to how the things were stored. On the pros side: 1) Way ... way stronger than I had expected. Stronger than silicone caulk, rips less easily than all of the silicone mold mixes I've used -- this stuff hardens in a manner that it feels like tire rubber -- soft-ish, won't produce sharp edges, but still physically difficult to rip/tear. I haven't done any scientific tests and I'll attest that it is not as strong as some of the epoxies I've worked with but those strong epoxies also harden to a solid plastic consistency and cannot be used in some places where Sugru works well. 2) It worked *better* than the marketing suggested in almost every way -- I have used it to adhere several different kinds of plastics without issue. When it didn't adhere (plastic wrap and things made out of the same material do not adhere well), it cured hard enough that forming it around/over the part resulted in a bond that made the adhesion irrelevant.

Amazing! 1000s of uses! Buy it!
Sugru is unique. I have used it for years. I reattach handles and broken bits of lamps, cabinets, dressers. I used it to fix a leak in a 200 gallon water trough. I reinforce and mend computer cables and charging cables. I hacked my Tesla's wireless phone charger so it would fit 2 large phones. The refrigerator handle, part of the detergent dispenser in my washing machine, a picture frame, the button on my TV remote, all are still in use thanks to Sugru. Read the instructions. It is super simple to use. Know what you should not use it for, though. It is great for fashioning fixes for plastic pieces that broke without which you item would be useless. I fix everything I can instead of buying new things. Reduce, reuse, recycle, do without. I've found great deals at thrift stores and garage sales that 15 minutes and Sugru fix. Sometimes I'll try glues, but they don't flex and cannot be molded. Sugru can seem expensive, until you start fixing stuff and then don't have to buy a new thing. I can pretty much sculpt this to look like original pieces. I always have some in the fridge, it keeps longer in there. You will use Sugru and keep finding new uses for it.

fix ANYTHING. Throw away less stuff. Make what you have more useful for you.
Sugru is incredible. It can fix all the items you thought were unfixable. It can make old items serve new purposes. I have used Sugru for SO MANY THINGS around the house I can't even begin to express to you how incredible it is. I fix things so they work for my purposes. A couple of examples: * My rear bike light didn't have a good place to attach to the bike -- I stuck it to the fender with sugru! Much better placement than intended by the maker! * My vinegars and oils in the kitchen sit on a shelf on a lazy susan so I can access the ones at the back. But I couldn't turn the lazy susan easily to access all of them. I put little 'handles' on the lazy susan in black sugru, and it works like a charm. * fixed the bottom of a black shoe -- the rubbery sole was peeling off at the toe (even though they were nice, expensive shoes!). Sugru worked great. * My gardening trowel has a vinyl or silicone wrapper around the handle -- that started to rip and peel off of one end. I put some sugru on it, it's been working well for at least 5 years now. * My IKEA wardrobe doors didn't come with handles -- I attached some pretty rocks to the door with Sugru to serve as handles-- it's held up almost 10 years now, and still looks great. * my remote control has too many buttons on it. Super confusing. I put sugru around the important buttons so they are easy to find. Once you have sugru around the house, you'll find yourself fixing things that you would have thrown away. It's a game changer.

Great versatile product for repairs
Somewhat expensive but reliably high quality moulding silicon adhesive. Extremely versatile for unexpected repairs of all kinds. I keep some around and need it for all types of one-of-a-kind repairs. Shelf life seems to be extended by storing in refrigerator.

Sad
They dried and crumbled didn’t work for me. I put one on my charger cord (as seen in the paper that came with it) when it dried it just crumbled. I tried to use it to stick something down-also didn’t work. Thought it would work better than wall putty- I was wrong

Excellent Product
I’ve been using Sugru for years e.g. dishwasher basket, shoe repairs, cracked pottery etc. So many uses - the black one even filled a small hole in my tarmac driveway. Very pleased with the results and long lasting.
