Very bright compared to most other brands, besides Sylvania. They give you a narrow beam concentrated on the road ahead. For brightness though I would give them an eight out of 10.

I have been using Philips Crystal Vision Ultra H11, 9005, and 5202 for 6 years. I originally purchased them for the bright white color. They are a whiter light than standard halogen OEM or Long Life (LL) bulbs. Driving in urban areas or freeways with ambient light, they are very nice. However, when driving in rural areas and highways, the white light with blue undertone is more difficult for your eyes to pickup. The human eye naturally sees amber light spectrum more visible. I have learned over the years Crystal Vision and Diamond Vision are not brighter, or provide more road coverage than standard bulbs, they just produce a different light color spectrum.I ordered the H7 for a set of aftermarket projector headlights I installed, and these are amazing in light output, and also have an advertised lifespan around 400 hours. I'm excited to see the results in a year or so.Ultimately, I have decided to upgrade all my bulbs to the Philips X-treme Vision variants, and they are fantastic! You can buy X-treme Vision bulbs in up to 100%, 130% or 150% more light. You may sacrifice longevity and bulb life, but the light output is incredible and covers more peripheral vision.Installation depends on your vehicle, I have to remove my front fascia and headlamp assembly to replace bulbs. But these seem worth the effort.

I liked these better then the Sylvania ultras. Better lighting on road, slightly brighter. The Ultra i had previously began to dim a little after a year so I wanted to try the Phillips, I am a fan of Phillips products. I like these more then Sylvania's but I had one burn out almost a year to date, the other still works perfectly going on it's second year. So I don't know if I got a bad bulb or if it's an issue with my car as it seems I can't get many bulbs that last over a year in it anyways

One of the bulbs stop to work after three weeks in the car, the bright was good, more than happy about how much change compared with the old bulbs … but waste my money with a product that works short time.Just to add … second bulb failed after two months …

Not bad for the price a expect more not white !!! same brightness of the stock one Phillips is a big brand look quality product a hope work fine for a long time

After multiple competitor bulbs failing in under 6 months, I purchased these for half the price, and got twice the life. Put in a 18 Hyundai Tucson, and also have a different set in my 13 Silverado. Definitely recommend.
