It seems to be heat and waterproof, and it's just about permanent. **Q: is this neoprene glue?** A: I use it to glue floppy soles on tennis shoes and snow boots soles that have come apart. Works great!! **Q: How many shoes will one tube do?** A: I only use a small amount of Shoe Goo at a time for edges of the soles. The smaller tubes gives me more usage over time. I cannot tell you how many shoes because it depends how much you need to use per shoe. If you need to cover entire soles of shoes I would recommend a regular size tube. **Q: Could this be added to the bottom of shoes to make them non skid?** A: Look for sole repair or sole retread products. These are rubber pieces that adhere to the bottom of the shoe.
