Better than expected!
Actually, better than I expected. It is not flimsy cheap, etc. it is actually a pretty fun compass. No, it doesn’t point North but that’s the point of the pirate compass if you’ve seen the movie. Although I do not understand the Frost poem being added in??

I purchased this as a cosplay item for my husband but it has turned into something that will be handed down through our generations. It is a beautiful piece . Great delivery time . Arrived in perfect condition .

Great looking addition to me pirate garb
Arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Fun piece. Good quality material in both the compass and the case. The POTC label isn't exactly accurate as it in no way resembles Jack Sparrow's compass. But I like it regardless. It looks great. And it works. The engraving on the compass is excellent.

Every pirate needs a compass! This was one of the many gifts I purchased for my 6 year old grandbabys birthday! Fits nicely in his pirate satchel and he loves that it’s ‘Jacks.’ This is great quality!! I do realize it’s not a toy, and yes I did buy it for a 6 year old. My thought is - if this soon to be 6 year old can handle a $1000 iPhone (mamas) properly, they can take care of a $17 compass. The item arrived so nicely, tightly packaged.
