The 4 star review vs a 5 star review is because it is shown to be crome, but it is really flat black. I have used this several times and it works as it should. Other, more expensive brands have a deeper shaft that is designed to go into 2 45 plates that will keep it from sliding around.This model goes into just one, so it will slide on you. I usually push the 45 pound plate it is inserted into against the wall to keep it from sliding around.My 4 star review is based on price. It beats the price of other landmine sleeves currently listed on Amazon, it's a sturdy piece of versatile home gym equipment, the hinge is well designed and stands up to heavy use- have had family do landmines and t-bar rows with 175+ on it. The bracket end fits right into stacked Olympic plates (see pic) The sleeve end is snug but an Oly bar goes in and out easily. Heavy rows do not pull the bar out of the sleeve or produce any bar movement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Built like a tank *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2016* My frist order was defective and did not fit inside my plates. Roger was glad to send another order out. The landmine sleeves are solid. I don't see this breaking any time in the future. They both have small chips and a little rust on them, but that was expected from the product description. It's because of those minor flaws that these are sold at such a low price. Keep in mind that it comes in a matte black. I'm surprised the product pics aren't updated yet.
