This is an excellent book for those serious about feeding your dogs raw diet. Great information and sources. Easy to read with scientific information. As an owner of a raw food company, I appreciate the knowledge shared in this book.

I'll be honest, it's tough to get through. Very scientific and thorough, on top of that a lot of the information is infuriating. But I would definitely recommend it to anyone who owns a dog and especially if you work with dogs in VetMed or nutrition. Dr. Connor Brady is the leading veterinarian in canine nutrition and he worked his a** off writing this book! Definitely eye-opening and worth your time.

This book is research based and full of excellent info on feeding your dog for maximum health and longevity! My dog loves being fed raw, and is in good shape!

I have found this book beyond helpful. Raw feeding, where I live, is not supported by any vets, there is so much information available online with many options. This book has helped me when I was doubting what I was doing, There is a lot of information in this book, but it is easy enough to get to the heart of what exactly you are seeking for. I love that you can read a whole lot in to what you're questioning, or just get right to it!

This book is hands down the BEST information available about raw feeding for dogs. Let me be clear - I was not a fan of raw feeding previously. I am a retired veterinary technician and was taught that commercial dry kibble was the only thing to feed dogs. I felt there was not a lot of evidence to support the idea of raw feeding until recently when I had yet another of my own dogs diagnosed with cancer. I also worked in rescue for many years and I now live with 17 rescue dogs. I have senior dogs, special needs dogs and dogs with medical issues like seizures, allergies, kidney failure, and as I mentioned cancer. I started looking into raw feeding in the summer of 2020 and to my surprise found that there was an entire community of people out there sharing information. Even better - the information was based on decades of feeding dogs raw food. The biggest argument against raw feeding has been that there is not a lot of science to support it. Until now - Dr. Brady has the evidence and the science to support the practice of raw feeding being healthier for our dogs. He is also a wonderful writer and pretty hilarious. This book is packed with information and explains the argument for raw feeding and why it is superior to kibble. Thank goodness there are people like Conor Brady out there sharing this important information for dog lovers.

This book is amazing. I been cross checking sources as I read it. I took several classes in animal nutrition and do reseach in another field. I have grown up on working ranches, I have doing a deep dive these last three years into dogs, mostly out of necessity from choosing to purchase a challege dog.He presents his sources in an easily digestable for and by chapter three has a writing style than had reading all day because I could not put it down.Its the how, when, where why and we are going for a deep dive into dog nutrition.I will forever be quoting "A donut is an excellent source of engery. So is a Mars Bar. What we need to ask is, is it appropriate?" I called half the phd's I knew in various fields to show them that with its context.

To say this book is a MUST read is an understatement. I only wish the title was different as this book is a far more than dry vs. kibble. It illuminate so much more in the world of health be it for our pets or ourselves. Reading it will definitely make you much more informed of the inner workings of our completely broken pet industry. Dr. Connors inner twining of human, dog and cat health facts along with revealing truths about the pet industry as a whole shows how our pets health and well being has been on a downward slope for decades, why it’s getting worse and more costly. After seeing the facts in full display you will undoubtedly improve the life of your pet and yourself and feel compelled to help others do the same. It’s really a life altering book!
