What is the expiry date for this product ?

Unfortunately the Amazon stock may include stock from more than one shipment from us and I do not have the ability to check dating on stock they hold remotely. This item sells quite fast so I suspect there will be a minimum of about 9 months to a year before expiration of current stock.

Is this healthy for a Quaker parrot?

Definitely, but Adult Fine or Adult Extra Fine, best for medium to small birds. I've been giving various pellet foods to my quaker parrots for 19 yrs. I switch sometimes, 1. to have them learn another food in case one is out of stock, 2. also have them try a different variety just like humans do. :) always go back to this one, they love it. I also give them good quality mixed seeds for foraging,variety, but their main serving are yhesd pellets. Also fresh vegetables & lettuce, etc.

I dont know where made. It's an excellent product, very expensive. Worth it if you only have 1 bird. I have 2. Also recommended to refrigerate after opening and that was not good for us when ordering large amounts.

My Quaker Parrot did not like it -- a waste of time & money

My Quaker Parrot(Monk Parakeet) is used to eating pellets instead of seeds. The usual brand I buy for her will take a long time to arrive so after checking the reviews I took a chance on this one since she is running out of pellets. I placed a spoonful in her feeding bowl to test. These pellets have a squarish cube shape that my quacker could not hold as opposed to her usual one that is cylindrical in shape that she easily holds in on one hand while she munches on it. She was not interested in these. She ended up taking these pellets one by one using her beak and throwing them all down on the cage floor. definitely not for my quaker...and definitely a waste of money for me. I also don't think I can return it. Now I have to quickly find and order a replacement.

Extrudés de grande qualité nutritionnelle, appréciés par une perroquet difficile

C'était pour un gris, qui n'aimait rien à part ses graines, et il m'a surpris à aimer les decortiquer comme des friandises :o Un bon point donc, puisque ces extrudés d'une marque bien connue et réputée (son prix aussi) sont équilibrés du point de vue apports indispensables (vitamines etc). Et il en mange tous les jours un peu (pepper coarse ou Adult Lifetime Coarse : il n' a pas l'air de préférer l'un à l'autre) A tester, mais extrudés en tout cas de très bonne qualité nutritionnelle et qui semblent appréciés note : coarse signifie que ce sont les grosses croquettes, de la taille d'une grosse noisette Pratique pour prendre dans sa patte pour depiauter. L'incovnient est que des mini bout ont tendance à sauter un peu autour quand il les mange, mais bon c'est sec et bien plus facile à nettoyer que d'autres aliments (et ca me permet de ne plus donner systématiquement des vitamines pour compléter son alimentation jusque là trop déséquilibrée).
