Fiilter adds some extra cleanliness to the coffee
Filters work well. There seems to be a lot of confusion about where the filter gets placed in the basket. Some videos show putting the filter in the basket and then adding coffee then the other basket sandwiches the coffee. This is not the way it’s intended to be used. You need to put only the filter in the bottom basket sandwich the filter with an upper basket.
