Perfect for pressing flowers! I see these with one sheet of waxed paper.

Basically, it’s a sponge for catching the cleaning fluid after it’s passed through the ink orifice. Otherwise, the cleaning fluid will fall into the bottom of the printers and possibly out onto whatever surface it’s sits on. I cut two 1” pieces(approximate) stacked one on top of the other as demonstrated in a how-to video that I watched on-line. There’s enough paper in the package to do several cleanings using this method. Worked fine as expected.

This blotter paper is perfect for flower pressing. It's heavy duty and absorbant. Can be reused indefinitely. The size is just right for my press and I will buy again.

Some of the inks I use are slow drying on smooth paper, so this is a must if I need to turn a page or close up the journal in a hurry. Works great, I'm only on my second sheet after a few years.

I use fountain pens, so this is really great for me as blotting paper. The size goes well with my A5 journals and planners. And you can cut it down to make it easily fit in an A6 notebook too. Very absorbent, and each sheet lasts a good while too. I've been using the same sheet for pretty much all of 2019. Just 1 pack will probably last you a long time with reasonable usage.

This might work for water coloring, but not to remove excess ink from paper

After seeing how unhappy so many people were with so many different blotting papers, I was relieved to discover that I had picked the good stuff. This blotting paper from Printhead Hospital was just what the doctor ordered. It has a matte finish that absorbs instantly and doesn't transfer the ink to another surface. I cut a piece that is the same size as my duplicate checks and not only does it blot perfectly but it makes an excellent backstop behind each check, as I write it, preventing carbon copy 'ghosts' on the next check copy. Thanks for an excellent product.

Bought these to supplement the ink jet cleaning kit fluid I had previously purchased. So I knew it would be the correct size and quality to match the blotting paper in the original kit. I wasn’t disappointed. Good pack of sheets that should see me right for a couple of years, so worth the cost.

I have a lovely Sailor fountain pen but because it writes very wet I always had to wait ages for the ink to dry I had forgotten all about blotting paper! My friend gave me a little old wooden rocking ink blotter but it had no paper in it so purchased this for it As it’s only a mini blotter this paper will last me for ages as I just cut it to fit It works a treat Highly recommended if you use a fountain pen
