I am happy with the purchase and the knife. But, it is probably not canistered, folded steel. It is a patterned blade and handle. And may not even be hardened steel. Read reviews before you purchase, it looks like some people get a good one, I wasnt one of them. Pros: Sturdy. Damascus design looks cool but im not sure if its authentic. Thick hefty sheath holds the blade nice and tight but a little bulky.
