I'm wondering if this would be a good game for my 7 yr old grandgirl. She's doing well in school but I wanted something "fun" too.

I got this game system for my son when he was 4. He was not yet in school but getting ready for preschool. He loved it myself as well. I loved watching him learn new things and answer the questions he already knew. He had the leapster explorer and the leapster 2 way before he got the Nintendo ds and Wii. He wanted all the games so we got him as many as we could including Tangled . He played it and just like the other games he learned from it. We also found out the store Five and Below carries tons of Leapster Explorer games for $5 not the $20 you pay in a reg. Store. But I highly recommend this game especially for a 7 year old girl. Hope this helps.

We have the new leap pad ultra, is this game compatible?

According to the Leapfrog website, any game that works with the Leappad2 (as Tangled does) will also work with the Ultra.

Will this game work with the Leap Pad 2 Explorer?

I think it will but i would go right to the LeapFrog website and look at the fine print from there. For Your Information i found the best prices on Amazon but better product info from LeapFrog.

Can this be used with leap pad ultra

Yes, this is for the Ultra as well. Any game that can operate on a LeapPad can also work on the ULTRA.
