The set seems pretty well made and you get a large assortment of tools. Cellphone, pager, tweezers, two pairs of scissors, reflex hammer, stethoscope, oral mirror, two band aids and much more. The cellphone one day wouldn't stop ringing and so we decided to just take out the battery. Nothing else has been an issue and I don't think that is enough of an issue to take down a star it still works great for pretend play and we didn't buy it for the cell phone anyway. I especially like how large the container is as we add to our Doctor collection their is more room in that case so it doesn't have to be strewn everywhere. I bought it for her because she was terrified of the doctor and everything that he tried to do (look in ears, eyes, listen to heart, etc.) This really helped her get more comfortable with it and she enjoys using it on all of us! It has everything she needs to play doctor and works great. The stethoscope makes a heartbeat sound and the blood pressure cuff spins. Everything has held up perfectly for us for a year now, so I highly recommend it. The only con would be that it was hard for her to open (I had to open it for her up until recently). Because it does have clasps that are a little tricky for a 1 year old.
