This RAM will likely help you. However, there is more to RAM than just spec: DDR4, speed: 3200mHz, and memory size: 8GB. If you only have one DIMM on a motherboard with 4 slots, you should put two or four matched DIMMs from the same manufacturer and same part number. Three DIMMs is a non-standard set up which can work, but has less desirable outcomes. HK Hynix is the manufacturer of the chips on your DIMM, but likely not the manufacturer of the actual module in your computer. Your best bet would be to remove the DIMM you have, purchase a set of two or four matching DIMMs of the total size you want and install them. With the one DIMM you have, your RAM is running in single channel mode. Going to two or four DIMMs will make your computer run in dual channel which will result in better performance. You will need to consult your motherboard's manual to determine the correct slots to insert your new RAM. You will also need to configure the BIOS to run your new RAM at the listed speed, voltage and latency or your computer will default to a speed below 3200mHz. I recommend you research that on YouTube such as Linus Tech Tips. It sounds much more complicated than it actually is. Good luck with your upgrade!

I have not been able to, but it might be because my AMD Ryzen 2700x is picky. I had Patriot RAM in a previous computer and it worked very well.
