Marc Anthony Strictly Curls, Volumizing Hair Spray for Curly Hair

I’ve used this product for years. It helps my naturally curly hair stay curly. I use it on wet or dry hair. If I use it on my wet hair, it dries beautifully curly with little to no frizz. It holds my curls all day. When I use it on dry hair it refreshes my curls with minimal frizz and helps my hair look beautiful. It’s lightweight, super easy to apply, and smells wonderful. I think it’s a fair value for the money.

This not only conditioned my hair, it gave it body and more fullness. My hair is past my waist and thinning because I'm in my 70s. My hair has become very dry and tangly 2 days after a conditioning treatment. I use demi-permanent hair color which has a conditioner, but still, dry and tangly. I purchased this to use with a new curling iron which I do not normally use. So surprised at how conditioned and manageable it made my hair.

I have naturally curly hair and have tried many products with varying success. I was using Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion and I liked it so I thought I'd try the spray. I like them in combination because the spray defines my curls more than the lotion alone. Here's my issue. I ordered the 6 pack and only got 5. The company mailed me an additional bottle but it arrived completely empty because the spray top wasn't in the locked position nor did it have the handle taped like the other bottles did. The company than issued me a refund for one bottle. All of this took place over many weeks. I used up the bottle I bought at the drug store and started one from the Amazon order. The spay wouldn't work; all that happened was the liquid ran out of the hole and all over my hand. Luckily I was planning on using the old bottle for another use so still had the spray top. It was a different design than the new ones. I put the old one in the new bottle and all was fine. However, I doubt that any of the other bottles will spray correctly so will have to continue to save the original. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

I'm confused by the poor reviews. Number one, they are stating smells horrible, that is untrue. Number two, this does not weigh my hair down at all it's boosts my curl and gives volume, maybe the poor reviews are people that don't have curls number three, this doesn't leave hair crunchy, maybe people are using another product with this. This product works wonderfully

This spray helped encourage the curls but it made my hair feel like dry straw, will not be using any more!

LOVE this spray! I'm the daughter of a hair dresser with naturally curly hair, and I'd spent literally decades, not to mention energy and money, rotating and trying MANY (all?) different curly hair products, but that stopped once I found this spray about 3 years ago. I haven't used anything else on my hair since (other than hairspray to help hold the volume) and have never gotten so many compliments on my curls in my life! I haven't experienced any product build up or fatigue in all this time, which is practically miraculous, and my curls are bouncy and defined (it especially enhances my banana curls) without being weighed down. I see that a lot of the negative reviews site crunchy and/or dry hair, but the only times I've ever experienced that was when I used too much of the spray; a little goes a long way, and of course it's much easier to add product than trying to dilute it after it's already on your hair. My skin is naturally dry, so I only need to wash my hair once every 5-7 days, and I use this spray on my hair wet/lightly towel dried after the washing, and then as needed to tame frizz or add definition daily. When I use it on this touch up basis, I don't spray it directly on dry hair; I spray water on the area first to dampen my hair, and then a light spritz of product. And while it doesn't leave my hair sticky, it does make my skin sticky if it gets on it, but that's literally the only negative thing I have to say about it.

I read reviews before I ordered this. But It Does Not Curl the hair as described, it smells bad and it feels very Gunky in the hair.

I’ve been using the Marc Anthony curly spray for a while now and it really helps bring out my natural curls without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy. It adds nice definition and keeps my curls looking more defined and less frizzy throughout the day. I also like that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, which is something I’ve struggled with in other curl products. It works well on both damp and dry hair for quick touch-ups, and the scent is light and pleasant. Overall, it’s become one of my go-to products for easy, everyday curls.

The only problem I had was that 1 of the bottles had leaked. The lid wasn’t on tight

I thought I try it since I liked all products from Stricly Curls I previously bought. But man, was I dissapointed with this one! It's a kind of stiff sticky glue that dried my hair even after I washed it off and deep conditioned it.

Great quality, great price, just a little to sticky for me.
